nilearn简介

In this tutorial, we’ll see how the Python library nilearn allows us to easily perform machine learning analyses with neuroimaging data, specifically MRI and fMRI.

You may notice that the name nilearn is reminiscent of scikit-learn, a popular Python library for machine learning. This is no accident! Nilearn and scikit-learn were created by the same team, and nilearn is designed to bring machine LEARNing to the NeuroImaging (NI) domain.

Elizabeth DuPre is a Wu Tsai interdisciplinary postdoctoral scholar at Stanford University, working with Russ Poldrack and Scott Linderman. Her current research uses dense-sampling datasets to understand and bridge inter-individual variability in neural organization as measured by functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). Elizabeth completed her PhD in neuroscience at McGill University and master’s in psychology at Cornell University. She is an active contributor to the open source neuroimaging tooling ecosystem, serving as a core contributor for the nilearn and tedana libraries.
